• Clean - Make sure to pick up all your trash when you leave.  We are glad you came, but remember the beach is a natural area for inhabitants other than us.  Sea Turtles are endangered, and more die each year from human pollution.  Leave the beach cleaner than you found it.
  
  
• Dark - Don't bring bright lights or flashlights to the beach.  Sea Turtles migrate toward light, and we don't need anything distracting them from the glow of the moon on the ocean's surface - so they can find their way home.  Flashlights made for Sea Turtle safety are a glowing red or orange - you can also tape this color film to your camera phones or flashlights.
  
  
• Flat - Building sandcastles, digging for treasure, and burying people in the sand make for awesome vacations... Just remember to fill in all holes when you leave, so Sea Turtles don't fall into them on their way to the water.
